After a chemical peeling or a microdermabrasion treatment:

**It takes 48 hours for hyper-lipids in epidermis portion (top layers) of our skin to rebuild, which means we must pamper our skin during this time**

Skin will feel tight, be slightly pink, and may even appear sunburned.

Your skin may or may not flake or peel, in any case do not pick or pull at the skin.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate (drink plenty of water, avoiding high sugar or carbonated drinks)

Use Strong Moisturizer (if possible with NaPCA or hyaloronic acid products)

Sun Block @ least SPF 30 (Broad Spectrum – UVA and UVB)

No irritants for 48 hours

No Sun, Chlorine Pool, and No Steam Room for 48 hours

Resume Retin-A or Renova 1 week after treatment

Resume Glycolic (AHA) based products in 48 hours.

Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion are generally done in series of  6,  each one 2 weeks apart (For those patients who can tolerate it, one a week for 6 weeks can be done.)

After your series is complete, it is recommended that a maintenance program of once a month or 6 weeks if possible be observed to maintain results. **
